| The Family of Johann and Anna Maria Bayerl | ||
|
Descendants of Johann and Anna Maria (Altmann) Bayerl will celebrate at a family reunion in July 2010. All descendants in the Bayerl, Allgeyer, Jasenovsky, Linsmeier and Kanyuh families are invited. In 1881 the emmigration of the Johann and Anna Maria family began from their home in Bohemia. First their oldest son, Jakob, left and obtained a land patent for 80 acres of farm land in the farming community of Birch Creek in the upper peninsula of Michigan. A year later, 1882, Jakob was joined by his parrents, two brothers (Karl and Joseph) and a sister (Barbara). Thus began the family's history in Birch Creek. |
